Newly rehabilitated affordable housing - single family homes and duplexes -
in the Historic Garden Homes Neighborhood in Milwaukee.
Garden Homes Scattered Sites are Section 42-Tax Credit housing. Unit sizes range from 1 to 5 bedrooms.
This project contains units for families, households containing at least one person with disabilities, those eligible for long term care services and/or a Veteran. Households meeting these categories are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Garden Homes Homeowner Initiative, in connection with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, is meant to promote homeownership and empower Milwaukee residents in affordable housing to become homeowners. After a period of 15 years, residents may be eligible to pursue homeownership with Garden Homes MKE.
Successful applicants must meet all income and screening criteria requirements. A security deposit paid in full is required to hold a unit after qualification. Please see the Resident Selection Criteria located under Eligibility for full details.
